Getting Started

Windows Instalation

  • Go to Latest Downloads and download the latest USBP software (USBP_SETUP.exe). The USBP_SETUP.exe software is required and additional software can be downloaded as well.
    • USBP_SETUP.exe - This will install the USB drivers. This needs to be installed before plugging the board into the USB cable
    • FPGA Configuration Tool - This application will configure the FPGA with a user selected bit file. Or use the bit file in install directory.
    • Board Tester - This is a simple application that will configure different LED blink patterns.
  • After running the USBP_SETUP.exe, connect the board to a USB cable. Windows will find the board and load the correct drivers. If the “HP digital TV tuner” driver is installed see Pyscho Driver page.
  • Test the board with one of the above applications.
  • To download your own HDL designs (FPGA designs) use the Xilinx ISE Webpack to create a bit file. Once the bit file is generated use the FPGA Configuration Tool to configure the FPGA.
